• • • Katrina's whole family has always been business savvy, but she used her own dedication to leap. At the age of 21, she graduated with a 4.0 GPA and received a gold tassel and Presidents Award at Le Cordon Bleu. She burned bridges and took her newfound love and passion -calligraphy, stationery, weddings, and events- to a whole new level. She dedicated her whole life to do calligraphy full-time and as brides started asking for menus and hand-written invitations, she packed her library with bridal books and magazines. After a soon-to-be-wed-friend asked Katrina to address her wedding envelopes, Katrina started looking at her options. With $10 to buy a pen and a pack of envelopes, she started writing her first bride’s envelopes on their dining table. MAISON DU PAPIER • • • The idea is for the client and Katrina to build these stationery suites together. It will give the client the capability to choose any setting from Katrina's collection or from scratch with the blend of different hues of color, textures of paper, and techniques such as letterpress, stamping and embossing. With their choice from any of Katrina's fonts, she will make a master copy, which will be used as a template for mass-production. With new invitations, menus, programs, and much more stationery paraphernalia done every week, Maison’s portfolio is growing rapidly and will soon offer collections with natural materials and items that can also be used as favors, such as wooden fans and fine abaca threads. Katrina's belief of Accessible Quality is met as the prices are very affordable and will work with any budget.
